What MedLens does
MedLens helps users compare medicine prices and diagnostic tests, place delivery orders (MVP), and set purchase reminders. MedLens is not a medical advice service.
Information we collect
- Account data: phone number (OTP login) and/or Google OAuth identity (if enabled).
- Order data: delivery address, delivery option, ordered items, and order status events.
- Reminders: reminder schedules and optional notes you create.
- Prescription uploads: if you upload an image/PDF for OCR, we process it to extract medicine/test suggestions.
- Technical data: basic logs for reliability and fraud prevention (e.g. request metadata).
How we use information
- To authenticate you and maintain your session.
- To create and fulfill delivery orders and show tracking history.
- To trigger reminders based on your order inputs (e.g. tablets/day).
- To send WhatsApp updates (if WhatsApp integration is enabled and you opt to use it).
- To improve search relevance and data quality (e.g. anomaly warnings during imports).
Sharing
We share information only as needed to operate the service (for example, messaging providers for WhatsApp updates, or infrastructure providers). We do not sell personal information.
Security
We use standard security practices (secure sessions, least-privilege access, and transport encryption where applicable). No system is 100% secure; please use the service responsibly.
Retention
We retain account, order, and reminder data as long as needed to provide the service and comply with obligations. You may request deletion of your account data.
